Jane's eyes narrowed as she pondered this, eyes shifting over to her comrades, and then pausing on each of the sorcerers. "And how do I know you'll keep your word?" she asked finally, gaze turning back to Orim.

Orim was dead quiet as he looked at Nyra, who still looked terrified, and then at Jaclyn, Falvir, and Varen. How would they reach an agreement?

Jane's eyes seemed to pierce right through Orim, boring into his core as she glared daggers at him. "Well, if you don't hold up you end of the bargain, be sure to know that you will pay, somehow. We have are ways of finding and dealing with people, and you shouldn't be too hard to track down. I mean, we've already caught up with you a few times, haven't we?" She laughed darkly, and a ripple of chuckles made it's way around the circle of her followers as well.

"Then let Nyra go..." Varen said icily. "And we'll leave." Orim met her gaze, amazed at the intensity of her glare. "I'll make sure I spread the word. Our leader can meet you here at midnight to discuss this matter. No sooner nor later than that."

Jane's gaze flickered to Varen, and then back to Orim, and she gave a curt nod. "And if he's not..." The warning was clear in her voice. Whirling around, and stalked back through the throng of vampires, and disappeared into the darkness. Slowly, they dispersed, and followed suit into the black.
