The storm broke overhead as the vampires retreated back into the forest south of Traveler's Meet. Raindrops pelted down, soaking them through. Luckily for vampires, they could withstand damp and hold just as much as heat and dry, very similar to... stone. Alice let her hood fall back, smiling up at the clouds despite the grim mood of the situation. Her porcelain face was dripping wet as she looked back down, and she grinned, blinking the drops out of her eyes.

The rest of the vampires scattered out. A couple seated themselves on the rocks around, but most remained standing. One of them approached Joren, gesturing to his arm. "Is it broken?" a female voice asked calmly. Joren nodded, letting out a frusterated sigh. "It'll mend in a few hours, thankfully," she added. "I guess that's a bright side to being...what we are." She then turned to Alice. "Will you be alright, too?" The other six watched this, their hoods still drawn over their heads.

Alice nodded, smiling brightly up at her. "I'll be fine." She flexed her hand again, grimacing a little. "It's already a bit better."

The cloaked vampire nodded. "Good." The lead vampire stepped forward. "I'm afraid we haven't had a moment to be properly introduced," he said, lowering his hood to reveal a pale man that looked about to be in his late twenties...though he, of course, was so much older than that. His hair was dark brown, a few inches long, and his eyes were scarlet. "I'm Feren." Joren nodded, his gaze flicking to the six, who still had yet to reveal their own identity. "I'm Joren...this is Alice," he replied, gesturing to her with a wave of his good hand.

"Nice to meet you, Feren," Alice chirped, smiling at him. Two others had just drawn back their hoods and stepped forward to introduce themselves. Alice stood and pranced forward, pecking each on the cheek with a light kiss. "Eden, Demi!" Demi, who was obviously younger when she had changed, and had been a vampire for less time, stiffened under Alice's touch. But Eden just smiled knowingly, reaching out to touch Alice's shoulder. There was a question in the older vampire's eyes, and as she opened her mouth to ask, Alice answered with a smile, "Psychic."

Two others lowered their hoods, revealing two other males. Both appeared to be somewhere in their early twenties and both were fairly tall, though one was slighty taller with charcoal-black hair. The other had dark brown hair, though his eyes betrayed hints of black around the scarlet depths. "This is Maven," Feren introduced the taller one, then gestured to the other. "And Leon."

Alice nodded, flashing each of them a grin. "I know. And you're Nell," she added, turning toward the other female who had stepped up behind Eden and Demi, lowering her hood to reveal a pretty, perfect face surrounded by dark, short-cropped hair. She nodded in reply to Alice, who then turned toward the last unnamed vampire, brow furrowing in slight confusion. "And you..."

The last figure had remained where she was as the others introduced themselves, leaning against a tree. She hadn't said a word ever since the group had helped Joren and Alice, and continued to remain quiet as Alice trailed off. Her gaze was focused on the ground, her hidden expression distant and deep in thought. Inside, a chaotic mix of emotions collided with one another. Finally, she raised a hand and lowered her hood, lifting her head to look at Joren and Alice. Dark, black hair fell to a point an inch or two above her shoulders, framing a pretty face. Leon, Maven, and Feren stared at her and Joren...both of them in their view now. They were shockingly similar...like versions of each other's opposite gender. Joren froze. Feren spoke after a brief moment of silence. "This is Ravyre.."

Alice tensed, eyes darting between Rayvre and Joren. Then, after a moment, she relaxed and nodded slowly. "I see... How very strange," she murmured, frowning curiously.

Joren blinked, starting to wonder if maybe this was all a bad dream. Uneasy, he met Ravyre's gaze, then stepped forward and pulled her into an embrace with his good arm. The other vampire did nothing, her expression still distant and unreadable. When he pulled away, she looked up at him, still silent. "I thought you might have been dead," Joren said in a shaky tone. "You lived?" Maven and Leon continued to stare, while Feren crossed his arms. This was a strange day, indeed.

Eden frowned, exchanging a glance with nell. Demi still seemed a little uncomfortable, eyes darting around the group of people. Alice's eyes were trained on Joren and Rayvre. She said nothing, tilting her head slightly to the side, squinting at them.

Ravyre's gaze turned cold, and she was still quiet. She didn't know what to say. Should she be happy to see him...or angry? Joren sighed. "You have every right to be mad at me. But could you at least say something?" The vampire scowled, her gaze flicking to the others. Obviously her negative side had won over her. "Yeah. I'm going for a walk." With that, she turned and headed off into the trees.
Feren frowned. "That's unlike her...Joren, how do you know Ravyre and what did you do to make her so mad?" Joren sighed, running a hand through his hair as he watched the spot where she had disappeared. "It's a long story, but she's my sister."

Everyone's expressions changed from confusion to shock at this, except for Alice, of course. Demi gave an audible gasp, and shot Joren a glare as she rushed after Rayvre. As they were the youngest in the group, the two had grown closer to eachother than anyone else. Eden sighed softly, and turned toward Joren. "Well, no matter. You can tell us later. Right now, you need to rest. And we should go hunt."

Ravyre was walking at a furious pace away from the clearing, confused, angry, and yet amazed that such thing could occur without warning.
Joren shrugged, keeping his regret and his own confusion masked from the others behind a neutral expression. Feren still seemed deep in thought, though his trance was broken at Eden's words. "Good idea. We'll bring something back for you two," he promised with a small, somewhat forced smile.

Alice nodded, smiling gratefully, and watched as they left. Eden gave a few words of instruction to Joren to tend to his arm, and told Alice to help, and then disappeared after the rest of them. Alice paced over to where Joren stood, and murmured, "Come sit down..."
Demi caught up to Rayvre, falling into step beside her, but saying nothing.
