Aeri thought this over for a moment, then shrugged. "Sure, why not?" She grinned, clearly interested in meeting some of the others. "Thanks for the offer."
Josh emptied the can in a fast manner, crushing it in his hand when he was done. After throwing it out, he grabbed his bag, remembering that he'd promised some friends to meet them before dinner at the cafeteria. Without a word, he swung the backpack over his shoulders and silently left the room.

After a while, Caden checked the clock and closed his book, dropping it back in the chest and pushing it back under the bed with a claw, hurrying out to find the cafeteria. He folded the map into his pocket, heading out the main door. If worse came to worse, he could ask someone for directions.
Jake was still exploring the grounds, at the moment, though he was quick about it, as with everything else. He took wide bounds across campus, holding his cap on his head.

Ithe winked. "Sure thing. Shall I call you two when we're heading out? Shouldn't be long- just need a few minutes to unpack first." She was by the door now, one hand on the frame, looking back over her shoulder as she waited for Aeri's reply.

Aeri nodded. "Sounds good to me." With one hand fishing through the bookshelf for another book, she used her other to give a small wave to the leaving elf.

The dark-skinned elf flashed one last smile, and disappeared into the hallway, the door closing behind her with a soft clicking noise. Ithe hurried back to her dorm, pausing in the lounge area to grin at the room, her eyes impossibly bright and cheerful as she surveyed her new home. She danced over to the bedroom and peered inside, catching sight of her new roommate. "Hey, Ryo! Are the beds comfy?" She sidled inside, dropping her bag down by the spare bed, and flopping gracefully onto the bare mattress. Her voice was muffled as she answered her own question. "Hmm... Kinda lumpy, but it'll do."

Ryo sat down on the edge of her own bed after greeting Ithe, a slight frown crossing her face as she gave her wand a couple experimental flicks. Nothing happened. "Hmm..." She gently patted it on the palm of her hand a couple times, almost as though she were trying to wake it up. "What's up with this thing. It's not--" A sudden crack made her jump, and sparks flew from the tip of the carved white stick. She turned around to find the walls on her half of the room completely gray. "Oh, so now it decides to work. Super."

Ithe raised her head, staring wide-eyed at the grey walls. "Oh, wow! Can you make mine purple?" she asked gleefully, scrambling to sit up.

Jake blinked when he heard a clock chime the hour. "Supper time!" He grinned, turning on his heel and dashing back towards the cafeteria- he had passed it earlier. For the first time he began really considering what the others would be like. They'd like him, right? At least one of them would be his friend... right? Jake bit his lip. He was used to people complaining about him. How he always came to early, or too late, or said or did the wrong thing. Only people with a high tolerance for annoyances could really deal with him.

Ryo frowned for a slight moment. Purple? That color was one of the last things she'd want to see every morning when she woke up. Despite that, she didn't want to cause a conflict with bedroom arrangements. At least her half was decorated the way she wanted it... She gave the wand another quick flick. The walls on Ithe's side changed from white to an odd green color--no, not right. Flick. Maroon. Flick. Black. Flick. Pink. She grimaced at the sight of pink walls, and quickly tried changing it again. When the color finally turned to purple, she set the wand down beside her, exasperated.

Ithe's eyes widened even further, and she sprang up from the bed, staring around at the purple walls. "Awesome!" She glanced thoughtfully at Ryo's half of the room. "Hmm. You know, it's actually a nice contrast. Grey and purple go well together."
Viem raised his head, hearing the clock as well. He hauled himself off the bed, and headed out of the dorm. As he passed Caden's new room, he paused, considering knocking on the door to make sure the griffin was coming. After a moment he gave a light rap, and called softly, "Caden, you in there?"

Ryo shrugged, still not entirely thrilled at the idea of purple walls. Taking her mind off of it, the witch stood and tucked her wand into her sleeve. "I think we're supposed to meet the guys right about now. You can probably unpack after supper?"

Caden poked his head out, feathery hair tufts falling over his shoulders with the momentum. "I was just heading out, actually," He tucked his key into his pocket, closing the door behind him.
Jake flung the door open, skidding to a halt in the cafeteria, before waiting a few feet away from said door for the others to join him.

Ithe nodded her agreement, and stooped down to grab her key and map from her bag. "Come on, let's get going!" She headed for the door, pausing to wait for Ryo to catch up.
"Alright." Viem shuffled out of the way so Caden could join him in the hall. "Any idea where we're going?"

Ryo took a last glimpse at the room before following after Ithe. When she'd caught up to the elf, she glanced at the map. "So where's the cafeteria?"

Caden grabbed the map from his pocket, looking it over again. "Well, at least it's nearby. Through the main building, there, on the other side," He opened the door and stepped out, pointing. "I hope they have something good- I'm really hungry..." He murmured, holding his tummy.
