"Mm-hmm. The family business," The faint smirk was back again, and Licia tapped her foot in the air, arms crossed. She still did not approve of him giving all this information, at least he'd stop there... right?

Mirah looked away for a couple moments, trying to put the information together. Though sparks of curiousity still nagged at the back of her mind, she shrugged the matter off. It had gotten slightly darker out, and she wanted to get there before it got too late. She concentrated now on where they were. The trees grew closer together in this part of the mountain, creating a difficult route for those who otherwise wouldn't know where they were going. She quickened her pace a bit, though slowed occasionally to make sure Aleron and Licia were right behind her.

Aleron kept up with her more easily now that she was on the ground. "I take it we're getting close," He murmured, staring ahead.

"You're right," she replied over her shoulder. "Stay close, though...it's really easy to get lost if you're not careful." She continued forward, stopping at random moments to check her surroundings. Finally, a new path became more evident. Footmarks were visible on the soft ground, and it was obvious that trees had been cleared away in the past to make a trail. "This will guide us straight to the main part of the camp. It's easy to find from here...but to outsiders, just getting to this point would normally be difficult. And if they managed to get closer, we'd most likely already know of their presence by the word of the night patrols."

"Hm," He replied quietly, nodding once. He continued on behind her. Licia had loosened up a bit, no longer glaring daggers into the elf's back, but now just watching her closely, scrutinizing every movement.

Mirah finally slowed her pace as they advanced down the trail, until she was moving at the speed of a walk. The trail began to gradually widen, and the elf followed it until it lead them to a large clearing. The sky was clearly visible above, and moonlight bathed the ground with an eerie glow. Several firepits were stationed around the clearing. A few figures had gathered around them--talking, laughing, and sharing stories amongst themselves. A few children scampered about, away from the firepits. Looking up, a couple treehouses were visibly situated in the firm branches of the trees, though they were meant for the storage of food and supplies. A hut was also nestled between two wide tree trunks at the edge of the clearing, with the an elven symbol for leadership carved into the door. A few other trails were visible between the trees surrounding the edges of the clearing--ones that led to other parts of the camp, where the residences for the other elves could probably be found. The elves gathered around the firepits began to cease talking as they noticed Mirah, Aleron, and Licia. One of the children present in the clearing ran up without hesitation to hug Mirah around her knees. "You're back!"

"Wow," Aleron said plainly, looking around, and couldn't help but smile a little when the young one hugged Mirah. With a sudden pang, he remembered his youngest brother at home, and the smile was gone. Licia looked around, a little awed as well. It reminded her of her original home, only on a much larger scale.

Mirah smiled, reaching down to hoist the child up onto her hip. The young female looked curiously at Aleron and Licia, and appeared bit awed, herself, at the sight of a fairy. "Mirah," she murmured, tugging at a strand of the older elf's hair as she spoke. "Who...?" Most of the other elves in the clearing had risen to approach the newcomers, their own eyes bright with curiosity. Mirah laughed as she gently pried her hair from the child's grip with her free hand. "I'd like you all to meet Aleron Tharcia and Licia. I've offered for them to stay here with us for a night or two." One of the other, adult elves stepped forward. He had dark hair, and a piercing green gaze, and held himself with a slight air of command. Mirah saw a strange sense of shock etched in his eyes as he looked at Aleron, which was reflected in a few pairs of the eyes of older elves. She was about to make a proper introduction between her companions and her leader, but, to her surprise, he spoke first. "Greetings, Aleron and Licia...But did you say Tharcia?" The leader cast his gaze to a confused Mirah.

Aleron nodded. "Yes, I'm a member of the Tharcia family. Am I correct in assuming that you are the leader of this fine image?" He asked quietly. Licia brought a hand by her mouth, a little put off at the stares they were receiving.

A few of the surrounding elves gasped slightly, their eyes wide. A few shook themselves out of their trances and lowered into bows. The leader, himself, nodded respectfully to Aleron. "Yes, though it is an honor to welcome a member of the Tharcia family to our residence." Suddenly, the pieces of information clicked together in Mirah's mind as she recalled why the name 'Tharcia' had sounded familiar. "Y-you're...." she stuttered, staring. Then, gulping, she hurried into a rather clumsy bow. When she straightened, she covered her mouth with a hand, her eyes wide. "I...I apologize for my ignorance. I hadn't known..."

He smiled, wider than he had the entire day. "It's not a problem, it's my own fault for not telling you so," He proceeded to bow in return to the leader. "But I don't want any special treatment, I'm a foreigner to this land, and would like to be treated as any normal visitor," The smile was more subdued now, soft and somewhat... dashing? Licia seethed a little, but stood and bowed to the elder as well.

The leader nodded, studying Aleron and Licia as he spoke again, "I'm afraid I haven't introduced myself. Forgive me, but it was quite a surprise for a member of the royal family to show up on our doorstep. I'm known as Faleror here." Mirah was biting her lip at this point, feeling her face going warm with embarrassment. She listened as Faleror continued, his voice even and calm. "We'll honor your request. However, as we would say to any guest, feel free to ask if there's something we can do for you to make your stay with us more enjoyable."

"Yes, thank you. If you could just point us in the direction of where we should stay, that would be enough," The faint smile again. "And if you maybe have any extra supplies for before we leave?" Licia asked, and Aleron hushed her. They could make due.

"Of course," Faleron said with another small nod. "Mirah will show you to your temporary residence. And as for supplies, we'll make sure you have what you need." Mirah set the child back on the ground again, but the girl still hovered by the elf's side.

Aleron nodded and turned to Mirah, the light smile returning. "Lead the way, then," He held his hand out, motioning to the village.
