Watching from behind, Balia was impressed to see that the elder had accepted the request so easily. She had jumped off of Sodi, and her eyes watching the elven children whispering. "Humph." She walked up toward them. "Well, are we to stay here tonight or are we doing an all night ride?" Personally, she did not care who looked at her or spoke of her, just as long as she didn't have to ride.

Shaiala glanced at Balia, and then back toward the leader of the tribe. "Would it be possible for us to stay here for the night?"

"Of course. You're welcome to stay," Faleror turned to Mirah, who was gently trying to ease her leg out of the child's grasp. "Mirah." The elf looked up from her task. "Would you mind taking our visitors to the guest houses?" Mirah nodded, having finally freed herself. "Sure."

Shaiala dipped her head in thanks, and motioned for her companions to come with her, following after Mirah.
Ooc; New day, so they can go home? And thennn skip a few more days/weeks so they can be like... preparing for battle? O:

Ooc; Sure. c:
Early on the dawn of the next week, the elf tribe was already wide awake--bursting with activity. While many were perfecting battle strategies, plans for the protection of the camp were also being put under way. A portion of the tribe would not be joining Aaron's group--such as those who were too young, too old, or crippled. Therefore, a handful of warriors were staying behind to protect them. Mirah was among those who would be leaving soon, as she was just old enough to accompany the other elves. However, she currently wasn't anywhere to be seen in camp. Again.

Aleron was out in the woods yet again, on his own this time. After finally getting Licia to relax on the whole 'we're gonna join them, a'ight?' issue, he realized just how much practice he needed to get done. True, it would have been easier-he also realized-if he practiced via sparring with a partner, but he tended to appreciate a quiet moment alone whenever he could have one. After some time with the sword, he sat down in the cool grass under the trees, examining his gloved hands. He removed a glove with his teeth, slipping a short knife from his boot with his other hand. Let's see if whatever Licia taught him stuck. He shut an eye and slid the blade across the tip of his finger, watching a bead of blood drip onto the grass before murmuring softly, before ending the small chant with "Heal," and he smiled softly as light blue sparks danced around the cut, sealing it closed. Oh yeah. He was ready for this.

Lurking quietly in the trees, Mirah came across Aleron just as he performed the spell. The elf leaned forward slightly as blue sparks came into sight, balancing herself carefully on the branch she'd settled on. When she saw that it had completely healed, she grinned and dropped down from the branch, landing with a soft thud on the ground below. When she straightened, she gave him a curious look. "That was a neat trick."

He looked up, seemingly unsurprised by her sudden appearance. "Oh, well, thank you," He smiled slightly. "Licia taught me a few years back, because, well, she won't exactly always be around to fix me all the time."

"I see..." Mirah said. "So you're joining us? When we leave?"

He nodded once, slowly. "Yes. I'd hate to see this country ruined so suddenly, and if it fell to these... creatures, well, how would I ever get home?" A small smile. "It seems like it would be... ah..." He paused a moment, thinking for the right word. "Well, I'd say 'fun', but that wouldn't be morally correct," He chuckled lightly, silencing himself after a moment. "An adventure, I suppose," He looked up at her through his bangs, his expression serious, apart from a Mona Lisa smile.

Mirah shrugged and sat down across from him. The elf then fixed him with a bit of a questioning look, a light smile on her lips. "You seem to be all for adventure." she remarked. "You left your family to travel around Isthilaen, you ended up here, and now you're off to fight vampires and sorcerers."

"It's a more interesting living than sitting around the castle all day and getting fat like Mihael, mm?" He imitated her smile. "I was worse as a child, though," He rested his elbow on his knee, and his chin in his palm. "I couldn't even sit still... and ran off into the forest often..." His voice trailed off and his expression went blank as he remembered the day he fell in the crag. "But nowadays I'm more cautious, at least," He spoke after a moments silence, sitting back up and putting the glove back on.

Mirah noticed the expression that crossed his face, but decided not to question it. If he didn't want to tell her about it, then it wasn't her business. Still, she couldn't help but feel a little concerned. "I see..." she murmured. "Well, I'm a little, for lack of a better word, excited. Unlike you, I've never been away from home....'home' being this mountain. I know this place better than most because I'm always trying to find something new to explore. Unfortunately, I think my options were starting to run out. Yes, this place is interesting, but I've always wondered what it's like to just go somewhere else."

Aleron looked up from his glove, the slight smile reappearing as he thought. He opened his mouth to speak, but a squeal sounded from the a few trees away, and he looked over just in time to have his face tackle hugged by a worried looking Licia. "Allll, you never told me you were leaving! I got worried," She nuzzled against his cheek, and he shut one eye. "Sorry, Licia, I just wanted some ah.... time to myself," He murmured. "Oh yeah?" She looked over her shoulder, shooting a glare at Mirah. "You don't look very alone to me."

Mirah drew in a sharp breath, her irritation growing at Licia's attitude toward her. "Actually," she said, returning the look for a brief moment. "I just came by."
