Nyra's head instantly jerked up, and she stared at the two. "Your...birthday? Are..are you serious?" A grin suddenly erased the embarrasment on her face. "That's great! Happy birthday!"
Ravyre grinned and bounded after Alice, and Maven and Leon fell in behind. Joren scrambled to catch up to Alice.
Cayli reached down to touch her toes, then straightened. "Are you wide awake now?" she asked Azera over her shoulder.

Jamison just stared at Jaclyn for a few moments, processing this. Then he cast a sideways glance at Nyra, and flashed a crooked grin. "Thanks." Jaclyn giggled. "We're eighteen years old. Crazy. huh?"
"No," mumbled Azera, scowling. She shook her head slightly, and wiped a hand across her face, wrinkling her nose at the dog slobber.

Nyra smirked. "You guys are getting old." She, herself, was late in her sixteenth year...In two months, she, herself, would pass her birthday. "Kidding. Why didn't you tell me sooner, you guys? I would have gotten you a present or something."
Cayli laughed and walked over to scratch Sage behind the ears. "Well, don't go back to sleep."

"Fine." Azera stood up, still frowning, and muttered, "I'm gonna go... bathe. Or something." And with that, she wandered off. Sage's tongue lolled out to one side as he panted happily, looking up at Cayli.
Jacyn and Jamison both shrugged. "I didn't really think it was that important." Jaclyn blinked. "I didn't remember." Jamison smirked.

Nyra pouted. "Well, you don't turn eighteen every day. Of course it's important."
Cayli watched her go, then glanced down at Sage, wondering when breakfast would be ready. She looked up, watching as some of the others lighted the firepits again.

Shaiala bounded up at about that time, giving Cayli and Sage a wide smile. "Good morning! Hope you slept well. Your meal should be coming down soon. Hope you like fruit."
Jamison shrugged again. "I can think of more important things."

Cayli turned and smiled at the night elf. "Anything works for us," she answered, grateful.
Nyra shook her head and sighed. "At least be a little enthusiastic."

Jamison shrugged. "I could also find more things to be enthusiastic." He paused, pondering. "Like breakfast. C'mon." And he dragged them both away.
Ooc; Time skip to say maybe... one or two weeks? o:

Time seemed to passed by quickly during the group's stay in Elfhaven, during which time strategies were planned, and ideas were put forth. The end of another month would soon be approaching. Cayli woke up before dawn, as many of the other performers were quickly getting into a habit of doing. Her morning routine began as she crawled out of her bedroll, exchanged greetings with a few others, and helped to prepare a morning meal with the fruit and vegetables the elves and performers had gathered.
Nyra, however, was starting to find herself sleeping in longer and longer. Even though energy from her surroundings filled her with temporary stores of strength, she found her inner supply of it growing thinner. She was tired often...now she needed at least four hours of sleep instead of the 'regular' two. Even then, she felt like she could lay down and take a nap at any given time during the day. She'd dismissed this odd change as a result of stress. That morning began differently, however. The sorceress woke up to be greeted by a wave of nausea, and she found herself hurrying out of the treehouse she and Jamison shared to the solid ground below, and made it to a small, secluded clearing just in time...away from earshot, she got sick. When she straightened, wiping her mouth, she staggered back a few steps. Was she really ill? Feeling faint, she forced herself to pace back and forth in an effort to calm herself down, convincing herself that she was just catching a passing illness...nothing out of the ordinary. The sorceress returned to the treehouse after she'd gone to take another quick bath. She climbed over to the bed and laid down on top of the covers, feeling light-headed and dizzy.

Jamison rolled over to face her, having woken when Nyra had first gotten up. His eyes were bright with worry. "You alright?" he murmured. Clearly he had noticed some changes as well.

Nyra groaned slightly. "I'm not sure," she admitted, one hand over her stomach. Her face was pale, though she felt oddly warm.

He reached forward, gently brushing a strand of hair from her cheek, and then trailing his fingers down to her chin. "Maybe we should see the healer..."

"Maybe..." Nyra agreed, her voice faint. "I just want to rest now, though...I don't think I should get up and walk around."

"Shall I bring one up, then?" he asked, a little anxious now. This wasn't like Nyra at all.

"No, no...I just...want to sleep," Nyra murmured. Then, hearing the worry in his voice, she looked up at him. "I'll be fine," she assured him quietly. "Really."
